The Invisible Architecture

What I take myself

My experience. Not advice. No doses to copy.

People often ask me what I actually do myself. Here it is. Honest and without advertising, because I don’t earn anything from any of these things.

Nutrients, to a plan

I take magnesium spread across the day, in small portions rather than all at once. I also make my own magnesium oil, to absorb it through the skin. Vitamin D3 always together with K2. Plus a B complex, OPC and vitamin C. I take iron only every other day, in the evening, together with vitamin C.

Why I’m not writing down amounts for you: Because my amounts suit my body, not yours. Test first, then top up.

CDL and DMSO

Every now and then I also use CDL on myself, and I use DMSO. These are remedies I have chosen for myself personally, and they have a permanent place in my home medicine cabinet.

MSM

Organic sulphur. My joints feel more supple with it. That’s my experience, not a promise.

Zeolite

I take it a few hours apart from my other nutrients. Zeolite binds, and it doesn’t distinguish between what’s meant to come out and what I’ve just put in.

Bicarbonate of soda foot baths

Instead of a full bath, I have regular foot baths with bicarbonate of soda. For me, one of the loveliest rituals of the week for winding down.

Honey and maple syrup instead of sugar

I sweeten with honey or maple syrup. To be honest: that’s sugar too, and I’m not kidding myself. But I know what’s in it, I use very little of it, and I decide when. Not the factory that tips it into every other product.

Water from a reverse osmosis system

Since I got a reverse osmosis system, I love drinking tap water. No more lugging crates, no plastic. Important: reverse osmosis also filters out minerals like calcium and magnesium. You then have to get those from your food or top them up deliberately.

From the farmer

I get milk, eggs and potatoes straight from the farmer. The milk by the bottle, for a fraction of the supermarket price. Raw milk isn’t for everyone: for children, pregnant women and older people it should be boiled first, and that’s what every farm sign says too.

No meat, no industrial junk food

I cut out meat more than a year and a half ago, ready meals and refined sugar six months ago. I cook for myself, from basic ingredients. And I don’t miss a thing.

This is my way. Yours is allowed to look different.
